How to remove your data from OpenWatch Nigeria

What data do we store?

If you subscribed to WhatsApp alerts, we store:

  • Your phone number
  • Your selected state/region preferences
  • Subscription date

We do not store WhatsApp messages, profile photos, or any other personal information.

How to delete your data

Option 1: WhatsApp

Send "DELETE" to our WhatsApp number. Your phone number and all associated data will be permanently removed within 24 hours.

Option 2: Email

Send an email to dev@trdspc.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include the phone number you used to subscribe. We will process your request within 48 hours.

What happens after deletion?

  • Your phone number is permanently removed from our database
  • You will stop receiving all WhatsApp alerts immediately
  • This action cannot be undone — you would need to re-subscribe
  • Anonymized analytics data (page views, etc.) cannot be linked back to you and is not deleted
